What is Window

  • Windows is a word of English origin and its respective translation in Portuguese is windows.

Windows was one of the first operating systems created and marketed for computers on a large scale.

It is the name given to the operating system for computers developed by the Microsoft company. It is one of the most, if not the most, used in the world.

Microsoft launched the first version on the market in 1993. However, since 1981 they were already working on creating this project.

This first version that was presented was just a graphical interface. Several other versions have already been released. With each new version that appears on the market, new technologies are implemented.

Windows XP and Windows Vista are also quite complete versions and they serve well. Many still use them and feel no need for a more up-to-date version.

But these versions cannot meet the technological updates. So for those people who work with technology or need more advanced equipment, these operating systems are outdated.

Windows 7 was developed to serve from the simplest to the most complex systems. Allowing the user to migrate from a previous one to a more current one. This also happens with the other versions.

The penultimate version was Windows 8. This version brings updates and technology news, making access easier and faster.

The latest version available is Windows 10, which entered the market in 2015. One of the great innovations presented in this new operating system is the end of Internet Explorer. The browser has been replaced in this new version by Microsoft Edge.
